Congrats to Kevin Laitinen and the Sault Surge, our Season Twenty-one Herb Brooks Memorial Trophy Champions.
Also congrats to Cory Jordan and the Ottawa Valley Wolfhounds on their run to the finals and thanks to everyone for another successful season.
Voting for the NSHL All-Star Team roster is now open via the GM Tools. It will remain open until at least noon on Tuesday. There's a possibility that at least one night's sim will be delayed between now and then and, if that's the case, the All-Star Game and the voting deadline will slide as necessary.
The Season 21 Entry Draft is complete and all eligible players selected should now be on their respective team rosters.
The process that does that is a limited version of the re-rate process, which we had trouble with a couple weeks ago. It's still acting up a bit and, instead of running for just the newly-drafted players, ran for all players. As such, any players who were sent back to the Property List will need to be moved back again (I'm working on that now) and any player position changes will need to be made again. Additionally, the post-draft list of ineligible players (https://community.fantasyhockeysim.com/topic/2164-s21-discussion/?do=findComment&comment=22943) includes all ineligible players, not just newly-drafted ones.
After a bit of delay, re-rates for Season 21 are complete. Players who were deemed NSHL-ineligible for the coming season are listed at https://community.fantasyhockeysim.com/topic/2164-s21-discussion/?do=findComment&comment=22806
Thanks everyone for getting votes in for the S20 awards. With that done, we've officially moved on to Season Twenty-one.
I've got the new ratings files from the CPHL and will be getting those processed shortly. I'm also getting our drafts set up. As of right now, I think we're probably looking at something like a Supplemental Draft on September 12, Entry Draft on September 16, Valid Roster Deadline (and Waiver Draft) on September 18 or 19, and then exhibitions starting around September 21. It depends on how re-rates go and if anything else gets in the way.
Congratulations to Kevin Laitinen and the Sault Surge on their Season Twenty Herb Brooks Memorial Trophy Championship. This marks their fifth league championship. And also congrats to AJ Kauzlarich and the Brampton Capitals on their run to the Finals, their first such trip.
I failed to announce that voting for the All-Star Game roster opened a couple days ago. Voting is required and is currently set to be open until noon on Tuesday. Because of the late announcement, I'll delay an extra day if necessary.
The S20 Exhibition and Regular Season schedules (excluding All-Star Game) have been added to the league website.
For the exhibition schedule, I randomly selected one team for each other team to host. To (barely) help facilitate the Trilium Cup, all of the Ontario teams were grouped together. This gives everyone one home game and one road game and results in a five-day schedule.
The S20 Entry Draft is complete and eligible, rated players who were selected should now be on their respective teams. Players who are rated but ineligible are listed here.
The S20 Supplemental Draft is complete. All players have been added to their respective teams' rosters. If anything doesn't look right, let me know.
Up next is the Entry Draft on Tuesday night.
